2024 Gift Exclusion Amount Limit. Starting on january 1, 2024, the annual exclusion on gifts will be $18,000 per recipient (up from $17,000 in 2023). This means you can give up to $18,000 to as many people as you want in 2024 without any of it being subject to the federal gift tax.
There’s no limit on the number of individual gifts that can be. The exemption will drop to around $6 million by 2026.
